FAQs

Ordering

  • Visit our Store page to see this week's available loaves and place your order online. It only takes a minute! You'll receive a confirmation email with all the details.

  • Orders must be placed by Thursday at 11pm to be included in that week's Bake. Any orders placed after Thursday at 11pm will be baked and ready for pickup the following Sunday.

  • We currently bake three varieties, most available in white or whole wheat flour:

Country Loaf ($15) — Our classic sourdough with a crispy crust and open, tangy crumb. The one that started it all.

Olive Loaf ($18) — Studded with briny olives throughout. Perfect with butter, cheese, or on its own.

Walnut & Cranberry Loaf ($18) — A sweet-savory combination with toasted walnuts and tart cranberries. Great for breakfast toast.

Our menu may rotate seasonally — check the Store page for this week's offerings.

  • We'd love to hear from you! For custom requests, large orders, or special occasions, please reach out to us and we'll do our best to accommodate.

PICKUP

  • Visit our Store page to see this week's available loaves and place your order online. It only takes a minute! You'll receive a confirmation email with all the details.

  • Every Sunday from 10am to 12pm. You'll also receive an email notification when

your bread is ready for pickup.

  • Life happens! If you can't make it on Sunday between 10–12, please reach out to us as soon as you know and we'll do our best to arrange an alternative pickup time. The more notice you can give us, the easier it is to accommodate.

Please note: Bread that isn't collected and where we haven't been able to reach you unfortunately can't be refunded, as each loaf is baked fresh to order. But don't worry — just stay in touch and we'll work something out!

ABOUT THE BREAD

  • Just four: quality flour, water, salt, and our own sourdough starter. That's it.

No preservatives, no additives, no commercial yeast.

  • Yes! Our sourdough is naturally vegan — just flour, water, salt, and our starter. The Walnut & Cranberry Loaf is also vegan. Note: Our Olive Loaf and other seasonal varieties may contain additional ingredients — check the product description on the Store page for details.

  • For the best experience:

Fresh (1–2 days): Cut the loaf in half and store it cut-side down on a cutting board. The exposed crumb acts as a natural seal and the crust stays crispy.

Longer storage (up to 3 months): Slice the bread and freeze it in an airtight plastic bag or freezer-safe container. Toast slices straight from the freezer — they come back to life beautifully.

⚠️ Avoid storing in a plastic bag at room temperature. This traps moisture and makes the crust soft and chewy instead of crispy.

  • Our sourdough naturally stays fresh longer than commercial bread thanks to the long fermentation process. Expect 1–2 days of peak freshness when stored properly (cut-side down on a board). After that, it makes incredible toast!

For longer keeping, slice and freeze.
